The article examines six types of materials used in pressure pipelines to determine their energy efficiency in water transportation. Information is provided about the experimental setup for conducting experiments and their essence. Based on the results of hydraulic experiments, the specific energy consumption values for each pipeline are identified, and their dependencies on the flow rate of the transported water are plotted in order to identify the most cost‑effective design option for pipeline systems during their new construction or in the trenchless reconstruction of old pipelines.
